Kenneth Kwochka

Dr. Kwochka received a diploma in veterinary medicine at the University of Missouri. After an internship in internal medicine and surgery of small animals in South Shore Veterinary Associates in Boston, he finished veterinary dermatology residency at the University of Florida. It then became a certified member of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. He is currently a president of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology Administrative Committee (AC WAVD) and manager of Veterinary Services - Health and Wellness in a company Bayer Health Care LLC Animal Health. For years, he conducts numerous trainings and researches in the evaluation of new medical products placed on the veterinary market. He has 25 years of experience as both a practice and a university lecturer. Dr. Kwochka worked in many institutions, including The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Dermatology Clinic in Marina del Rey, California, as well as Southeast Veterinary Dermatology and Ear Clinic in Mount Pleasant and Greenville. For seven years he was vice president of research and development in the DVM Pharmaceuticals and Teva Animal Health. Dr. Kwochka is the author of over one hundred theses and co-author of numerous books, editor of three books and numerous conference materials, as well as the reviewer of many scientific publications. He is a long-term president of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, and now also a secretary of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology. Dr. Kwochka for many years supports the Morris Animal Foundation. Fo huge contribution in the development of veterinary dermatology, he has been awarded numerous prizes, including Stanford University School of Medicine Outstanding Veterinary Dermatologist Award and the American College of Veterinary Dermatology Award of Excellence.
