Kinga Gortel

King Gortel graduated Veterinary Medicine at Western College in 1995 and an internship, residency and a master's degree took place at the University of Illinois. She spent seven years on the dermatological practice in Southern California, then moved to Kelowny. In 1999 she became a certified specialist in veterinary dermatology and began veterinery medicine practice. Since 2006 she has worked in Lake Country Veterinary Specialist Hospital in Kelowna, Canada. Besides clinical work, dr. Kinga Gortel is an active teacher, lecturer and author of scientific publications. She works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary and W.C.V.M (Western College of Veterinary Medicine). Gortel is the author of many publications. She wrote chapters about rinsing the ears and otoscopy to manual Ettinger iFeldmana about internal diseases and to 'Clinica Veterinary Advisor' Etienne Cote.
