Ronald LiRonald Li, DVM, MVetMed, PhD, DACVECC

Dr. Ronald Li is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Davis. His research focus includes platelet signaling, neutrophil extracellular traps in sepsis and thrombosis. His clinical interests include management of respiratory failure, thrombosis and acquired coagulopathies.

Dr. Li graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph in 2009 and completed a rotating internship in Toronto, Canada the follow year.  Dr. Li then went on to pursue an emergency and critical care residency and Master of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Royal Veterinary College (University of London) in 2011. He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2014. Dr. Li received his Ph.D. from UC Davis in December 2017 and is now the principal investigator for the Comparative Platelet and Neutrophil Physiology Laboratory at the University of California Davis.
