Nadine Fiani, DVM, BVSc (Hons), DAVDC, Assistant Clinical Professor

DVM, BVSc (Hons), DAVDC, Dentistry and Oral Surgery Service Dr. Fiani graduated with honors from the Veterinary University of Sydney in 2005, and then took an internship with small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Camden. Here she started to be interested in advanced techniques in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. To deepen her knowledge, Dr. Fiani completed a three-year residency at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the University of California at Davis, thereby becoming a certified specialist in American Veterinary Dental College. Dr. Fiani is working at the faculty of veterinary medicine at Cornell University in New York. 

Today, Dr. Fiani is the only certified veterinary dentist in New South Wales. Her main interests include endodontics, orthodontics and maxillofacial reconstructive surgery. She has particular interest for dentistry of wild animals and therefore she is a main dentist at Taronga Zoo and Mogo Zoo in Australia.
